Thinking by Doing

Human Scale AI

This is experimental design work that I began as part of my coursework in the MIT CTO program back in 2023-24, which I am evolving for Stanford University’s UI/UX for Product AI’s 2025-26 capstone project. My current focus is two fold: optimizing for the end user experience by equipping designer’s own creator experience with new frameworks and tools.

What follows is my presentation for the R&D World Summit 2025. In that session, I shared practical lessons on designing intelligent Human–Machine Systems (HMS) that conform to human scale in real-world contexts.

In my opening keynote, I made the case for Human Scale AI and introduced the construct for an Intelligent & Intuitive Digital Service Suite grounded in measurable outcomes.

Accelerating a digital service’s T2V (time-to-value) relies on switching from extraneous and largely cumbersome efforts to best experience germane cognitive loads conceived to amplify human abilities, improves decision and, in turn, execution quality as the ultimate success factor.

Just to be clear, this is all about intentionally focusing on beneficial AI rather than technological prowess alone, ensuring that innovation serves human needs with tangible value.
